Collection, Use, Disclosure, and Retention of Face Data
This section specifically addresses the collection and handling of biometric and face data.
1. What Face Data does the app collect? We collect video footage and images provided by you which contain facial images. From this, our technology may process facial geometry and landmarks ("Face Data") solely to create the AI-generated avatars and videos requested by you.
2. Planned Uses of Face Data. Face Data is used exclusively to generate the hyper-personalized video content you have subscribed to create. It is used to map facial expressions and lip-syncing to the audio tracks generated for your specific campaigns. We do not use this data for identity verification, surveillance, or any purpose other than video synthesis.
3. Sharing and Storage of Face Data.
-
Sharing: We do not share Face Data with third parties for their own marketing or business purposes. Data may be processed by our trusted cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services) solely for the purpose of rendering the video content. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality and security agreements.
-
Storage: Face Data is stored on secure, encrypted servers located in the United States. We employ industry-standard encryption (both in transit and at rest) and access controls to protect this data.
4. Retention of Face Data. We retain Face Data and Persona Videos only for as long as necessary to fulfill the approved purposes (i.e., the duration of your campaign or subscription). In accordance with our Subscription Terms, all Face Data and generated likenesses will be securely deleted within twenty-four (24) months of collection or immediately upon the termination of your account or the end of the data's intended use, whichever occurs first. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting legal@revlab.ai.
